TransForce is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to support regional operations based in Independence, OH. This is a direct hire opportunity.

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to support regional operations based in Independence, OH. This is a direct hire opportunity.
CDL A Flatbed Driver Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8 AM start time.
- Pay: $29 per hour or .80 cpm
- Route Type: Regional, layovers involved
- Freight / Load Type: General Cargo
- Equipment: Automatic trucks, 48' Flatbed
- Handling: strapping and tarping
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. At least 1 year must be flatbed experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Safely operate class A vehicles on local routes
- Transport medical equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including offloading with electric pallet jack.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
