Job Details
Pick up and deliver live chickens from local poultry farms to the facility.
Transport chickens using a flatbed trailer.
Average of 3 inbound loads per day.
Secure chicken cages to the flatbed using a cheater bar.
Navigate challenging farm roads with grades, bumps, and ditches.
Ensure all loads are properly secured.
Live haul experience is preferred but not required.
Shift Details
Monday-Friday schedule
Start times between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM
Home daily
Required to work 1-2 Saturdays per month
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day off
Job Requirements
Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
DOT Medical Card
Clean driving record
No SAP drivers
Ability to secure chicken cages using a cheater bar
Ability to drive on difficult farm roads
Willingness to perform physically demanding live-haul work
