<p>Our client is seeking local CDL A delivery drivers to deliver food service orders throughout the Metro DC area and within a two-hour radius of Manassas. This direct-hire opportunity offers paid training, component-based pay after training, and the potential to earn up to $110,000 per year.</p>
<p>This is a physically demanding delivery position involving frequent stops, heavy products, and hands-on unloading. Experienced food service drivers may qualify for a retention bonus of up to $10,000.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule Details</h3>

  <li>$34.00 per hour during 3–4 weeks of training</li>
  <li>After training: Component pay based on stops, miles, and cases</li>

  <li>Retention bonus of $5,000–$10,000 for drivers with relevant food service experience, paid during the first year</li>

  <li>Source schedule indicates up to 70 hours per week</li>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>

  <li>Operate a CDL A vehicle on local food service delivery routes</li>
  <li>Deliver orders to 10–15 stops per day</li>
  <li>Sort customer orders inside the trailer</li>
  <li>Unload and transport cases using a two-wheeled hand cart or pallet jack</li>
  <li>Move products into customer facilities safely and efficiently</li>
  <li>Handle products weighing up to 80+ pounds</li>
  <li>Maintain professional and dependable service at each delivery location</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Valid CDL A</li>
  <li>6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL A driving experience</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements</li>
  <li>Valid DOT medical card</li>
  <li>At least 21 years of age</li>
  <li>Ability to read, write, and communicate in English</li>
  <li>Ability to perform physically demanding delivery work and handle products weighing up to 80+ pounds</li>
  <li>Manual transmission experience preferred</li>
  <li>Food delivery or other physically demanding delivery experience preferred</li>
</ul>
