SUMMARY: The Class A CDL Driver role is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting product and materials to ensure daily operational business needs are met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:· Perform all pre and post trip checks as per protocol· Obey all local, State, Federal and DOT regulations· Keep trucks rotated into the receiving dock by order of lots· Fuel trailers, check temperatures on trailers, ensure correct trailer are shuttled to correct door· Maintain satisfactory attendance and job performance in accordance with company policies and procedures · All other duties as assigned EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE · Requiredo Current Class A CDL Driver's license o Must be able to pass DOT physical o High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not requiredo Must be 18 years or oldero 1 year of experience with completed driver's school training or 2 years of experience without driver's school training requiredo Must be eligible to work in the United Stateso Follow verbal and written instructions PHYSICAL and WORK ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS · Requires frequent sitting· Requires frequent lifting 20-40 lbs· Exposure to varying noise levels· Bend, stoop and lift various weights as needed· Exposure to strong raw and rendering odors
