<h3><strong>About the Position</strong></h3>

<p>This is a unique role for a CDL A driver based in Indianapolis, reporting to Columbus, OH management. The driver will operate independently and must stay on top of communication without being chased. This position involves hands-on, touch freight work, requiring the manual unloading of steel at job sites using bars and basic tools. Candidates should be comfortable working outside in all conditions and managing material safely.</p>

	<li>Route Type: Local
	<li>Equipment: 36’ gooseneck pulled with a single axle day cab
	<li><strong>Handling: Heavy touch freight - Manual unloading of steel</strong>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Handle deliveries in the Indianapolis market
	<li>Coordinate with Columbus on loads and priorities
	<li>Occasional trips to Columbus and Cincinnati for loading and support
	<li>Prioritize safety and align with the company&apos;s safety culture
	<li>Communicate effectively about delays, job site problems, and load issues
</ul>

<h3><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>6-12 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
	<li>CDL A license
	<li>Solid flatbed experience (securement and unloading) is a plus
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
</ul>
