Weekly home time and no-touch freight give Atlanta CDL-A drivers a strong regional setup without the physical work of unloading trailers. Drivers primarily operate east of I-35 with consistent full-time freight and newer automatic equipment.
Pay & Home Time
Pay of $1,700 to $1,900 per week
Home weekly
Full-time freight
Weekly reset timing varies based on freight requirements
Freight & Running Area
Drivers haul 100% no-touch freight, with approximately 50-60% drop-and-hook and the remaining loads handled through live unloads.
Routes operate primarily east of I-35. Broader lower-48 freight may occasionally be assigned based on customer demand, but drivers are never responsible for unloading freight.
Truck & Equipment
Drivers operate late-model automatic equipment from a fleet averaging approximately 18 months or newer. Freightliner, Kenworth and Volvo tractors are assigned based on availability.
Trucks include 1,200-1,500 watt inverters. Drivers may take their truck home with safe parking or use an approved company terminal.

401(k) through Fidelity with 4% company match after 6 months
Paid vacation
$12.50 per hour detention pay after the second hour
$100 per day layover pay, excluding Sundays
Pet and passenger programs available
Orientation
Orientation begins Monday or Wednesday and pays $100 per day for three days. Atlanta-area orientation is available in Ellenwood, Georgia. Transportation, single-person hotel accommodations and meals are provided.
CDL-A Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL
Current DOT medical card
Meet company tractor-trailer experience requirements
Meet applicable driving and safety qualifications
Able to operate regional routes primarily east of I-35
