Job Summary: 
Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions: 
 
Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
 
Drives truck to destination.
 
Prepare receipts for load picked up.
 
Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
 
Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
 
Loads and unloads truck.
 
Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
 
Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
Minimum Qualifications:
 
Working knowledge of applicable job techniques, tools, and equipment.
 
Familiarity with company quality and environmental policies, including AS9100 and ISO 14001.
 
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
 
Dependable attendance and punctuality with the ability to meet deadlines.
 
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 
Commitment to following safety procedures, security protocols, and wearing proper PPE.
 
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to accept constructive feedback.
Education & Experience 
 
High school diploma or equivalent required.
 
Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical environment preferred.
Background Prerequisites:
Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
 
Experience working in AS9100 and/or ISO 14001 certified environments.
 
Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage changing priorities.
 
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
 
CDL license preferred
