Full Description
Cloverland Dairy is located in Baltimore City, Maryland, where we provide over 300 jobs for local residents. Our products can be found in hospitals, private and public schools, institutions, convenience stores and supermarkets throughout the Mid Atlantic area. Cloverland Farms Dairy is looking for Class A and Class B drivers to deliver finished products to our customers in a safe and timely manner.
Work Schedule: TBD (Day Shift) - Home Daily. Must be able to work weekends.
Pay Rate: $18.60/hour plus commission (as of 6/1/26 - $19.58/hr plus commission)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pre/Post trips any vehicle assigned.
- Pick-up truck/tractor trailer at start of shift and verify load.
- Deliver products in a safe and timely manner to each customer assigned.
- Pick up and return all empty crates/pallets that were left from previous delivery from each customer.
- Must be able to lift, pull, and drag a minimum of 50 lbs
- Must be able to use a hand truck and/or power jack.
- Must provide good service and good customer relations.
- Must report all accidents, damages, complaints, or issues that may occur, and is accountable for filling out all necessary reports.
- Must be able to use a hand-held device for making deliveries, must be able to make necessary adjustments, to ensure accurate deliveries, and accurate billing for our customers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must possess a valid CDL A or CDL B license.
- Must possess a valid medical certification card.
- Air Brake Endorsement required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal customers
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Physical Requirements:
- Must be capable of getting into and out of tractor or straight trucks numerous times over shift to secure load bars or straps
