At Thompson & Johnson Equipment, our drivers play a critical role in delivering equipment safely and professionally to our customers.
We're looking for a 
CDL A Truck Driver 
to join our Syracuse team and support deliveries across the region. This is a local driving position, giving you consistent hours and the ability to be home every night.
What You'll Do
Load, secure, and transport equipment to and from customer job sites
Operate trucks and trailers safely while complying with all DOT regulations
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections (fuel, brakes, lights, tires, etc.)
Deliver equipment to customers and assist with unloading and placement
Provide basic instruction on safe equipment operation when needed
Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams
Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and inspection reports
Maintain a clean and well-functioning truck and equipment

What You Bring
Valid CDL A license with HAZMAT endorsement
Clean driving record acceptable to company and insurance carrier
Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and material handling equipment
Strong attention to safety and detail
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to complete required paperwork and logs accurately
High school diploma or equivalent
