We provide exceptional customer service, and our goal is to add a professional, responsible, and safety-oriented drivers to haul containers to and from the port of Los Angeles and Long Beach, as an employee of Hight Electric. This position requires a valid commercial driver's license and the ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience as a company driver, be comfortable with local routes.
Responsibilities:
Follow safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Load and unload cargo safely and securely.
Deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.
Communicate with dispatch and other personnel to ensure delivery accuracy.
Attend safety meetings and trainings
Maintain accurate e-logs.
Physical requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting
Must be able to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, and pull
