CDL A Hazmat Driver - $27.50 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A hazmat driver to support local operations based in Henrico, VA.

TTP: This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4am - 6am Start time, 8-14 hours per day

• Pay:  $27.50 Per hour

• Route Type: Local, 6-8 stops per day

• Equipment: Automatic Transmission, 53' Trailer

• Handling: Touch freight, electric pallet jack, some breakdown of product required, must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. 

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: Hazmat required before 90 days of employment

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks touch freight

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including being able to lift at least 30 lbs.
