RESPONSIBILITIES - A Day in the life
- Operate company-owned tractor-trailer or straight trucks to transport freight between designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain a safe driving record and comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport.
- Manage electronic logging devices (ELDs) to accurately record driving hours and activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, service center personnel, and customers.
- Other duties as assigned
