<p>We are hiring a CDL A Driver for Port and Yard Operations in Compton/Signal Hill, California area, offering $31 per hour. This position involves local deliveries with a focus on safety and efficiency in handling equipment. You will enjoy the benefit of being home daily, supported by a dedicated TransForce team that prioritizes your needs and safety.</p>

<h3><strong>Pay & Schedule</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Pay Rate: $31 per hour
	<li>Schedule: Monday - Friday
	<li>Shift: Day Shift (6 AM - 4 PM)
	<li>Home Daily
</ul>

<h3><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Transporting and repositioning containers, chassis, and trailers between marine terminals and customer facilities.
	<li>Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and documenting conditions of equipment.
	<li>Utilizing technology for real-time tracking and communication regarding assignments and updates.
	<li>Assisting warehouse personnel with strategic trailer placement when needed. 
</ul>

<h3><strong>What You Need</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li><strong>Valid CDL A</strong>
	<li><strong>2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience</strong>
	<li><strong>6+ months of recent and verifiable PORT experience</strong>
	<li><strong>Current DOT Medical Certificate</strong>
	<li><strong>TWIC Card required (or ability to obtain immediately)</strong>
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
	<li>Must be at least 23 years old
	<li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
</ul>
