<h3>About the Position</h3>
<p>TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Route Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm position in Edison, New Jersey. This local route position involves transporting eggs to grocery stores and distribution centers throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.</p>

<h3>Pay &amp; Schedule</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Pay rate: $30 per hour</li>
  <li>40 hours per week</li>
  <li>Monday through Saturday schedule, with drivers working five days per week</li>
  <li>Dispatch times between 12:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m.</li>
  <li>Typical workdays are 9 to 12 hours</li>
  <li>Temp-to-perm employment opportunity</li>
</ul>

<h3>Job Details</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Route type: Local</li>
  <li>Freight: Eggs and other palletized products</li>
  <li>Equipment: Tractors with automatic transmissions</li>
  <li>Handling: Heavy-touch deliveries requiring unloading with pallet jacks or rolling racks</li>
  <li>Approximately eight stops per day</li>
  <li>Delivery territory includes New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania</li>
</ul>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Haul preloaded trailers containing palletized products to designated delivery locations</li>
  <li>Unload products using pallet jacks or rolling racks</li>
  <li>Complete delivery invoices accurately</li>
  <li>Maintain required paperwork using electronic logs</li>
  <li>Use RF scanners for inventory at select accounts</li>
  <li>Operate equipment safely and professionally while completing assigned routes</li>
</ul>

<h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>
<ul>
  <li>1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience</li>
  <li>Valid CDL-A license</li>
  <li>Reefer driving experience</li>
  <li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years</li>
  <li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements</li>
</ul>
