Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
 
Knowledge of DOT regulations, commercial driver's license rules and regulations
 
Experience of Single and Tandem Axle Day Cab, Straight Truck, Dump Truck, Flat bed, End Dump, Forklift, Strapping and Tarping
 
Genuine care to courteously interact with customers and general public on a daily basis
 
Strong attention and compliance rate to all safety operating practices
 
Ability to work in a physical labor position in indoor/outdoor environments
Minimum qualifications:
 
Required: 
Valid Commercial Missouri Driver's License, Class A
 
Required: 
Medical Examiner's Certificate - As required by the Department of Transportation
 
Required: 
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
 
Required: 
Minimum of one-year verifiable CDL driving experience or a certificate of completion from an accredited truck driving school
 
Required: 
Must be able to meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to DOT and Company standards
 
Highly Preferred:
 Manual driving experience
 
Highly Preferred: 
Working experience in plant industry or related fields, landscaping, garden centers, and/or nurseries
