Position Summary:

This role involves hauling grain loads year-round to local customers and transporting harvested crops from fields to our facilities during harvest season. Drivers must be able to operate safely and efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with dispatch and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport grain loads to local customers throughout the year.
• Pick up loads from fields during harvest and deliver them to company facilities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure truck and trailers are in good working condition.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding deliveries and schedules.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of grain to prevent loss or contamination.
• Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and records as required.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Valid Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer Endorsement.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating hopper bottom trailers (preferred).

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong attention to safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ability to perform basic truck and trailer maintenance as needed.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Certifications/Licenses:

• Valid Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trainer Endorsement.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work extended hours during harvest season, including weekends.
