Planned backhaul freight helps maintain productive weekly movement while assigned equipment provides drivers with a consistent truck and trailer setup.
Dedicated Flatbed Operation
Primary outbound loads originate near Calvert, Alabama, and include stainless-steel coils and flat stainless-steel sheets. After completing the outbound delivery, available backhaul freight moves drivers toward the next customer load rather than routinely returning trucks empty.
• Most freight is live loaded and live unloaded
• Approximately 75% of loads require tarping
• Smaller and lighter six-foot drop tarps are used for this operation
Tarp compensation is included in the account's pay program.
