As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Whether you're leading a team, engineering processes, or driving projects, your work ensures that our customers' products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision. As a local CDL Driver, you will transport goods using a company truck, pick up and deliver boxes and packages, and ensure the accuracy of paperwork. Reporting to a Supervisor, you will follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations. The base hourly rate for this position is $33.12, with additional shift differentials applied depending on the schedule.
How you create impact
Transport, load, and unload parts and materials-including hazardous items-to and from customer sites and warehouses
Make sure each load matches the order in the yard management system and is safely secured in the truck
Check vehicles before use and report any mechanical problems right away
Keep records like delivery logs and shipping documents up to date
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and transportation policies set by our company and customer sites
Work in all kinds of weather and non-climate-controlled areas; be available for overtime and weekends
Read and understand work instructions, job aids, and delivery paperwork with attention to detail
Lift up to 50 pounds and follow safety steps when handling materials
Pick up and deliver trailers between our company and customer warehouse locations, meeting tight delivery deadlines.
Help with other warehouse tasks when needed, and take part in random drug and alcohol screenings
What we would like you to bring
Must be a U.S. citizen
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Class A CDL license 
1+ years of recent, continuous CDL Class A driving experience
Hazmat and Tanker endorsement 
Excellent driving record
Proven experience handling tandem axle tractors and transporting goods using dry van and refrigerated trailers
