Anticipated Hiring Range: $31.96/HR - $42.77/HR, DOQ/E

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Raw Water System Operator I: Generally, a High School diploma or GED equivalent; supplemented by two (2) years of related work experience, preferably with exposure to heavy equipment, basic piping techniques, underground utility repair; or any equivalent combination. A State of Colorado - Class I Operator Certification in Water Distribution required; or ability to attain within one (1) year of employment. A Class I Operator certification in Wastewater Collections is preferred. A valid Colorado Class A CDL driver's license with Tank Vehicle endorsement is required, or ability to attain within six (6) months.
Raw Water System Operator II: Generally, a High School diploma or GED equivalent; supplemented by three (3) years related work experience, experience operating heavy equipment, basic piping techniques, underground utility repair; or any equivalent combination. State of Colorado - Class 2 Operator Certification in Water Distribution required; or ability to attain within one (1) year of employment; Class I in Wastewater Collections and Well Meter Tester Certification is preferred. Valid Colorado Class A CDL driver's license with Tank Vehicle endorsement, or ability to attain within six (6) months.
Raw Water System Operator III: Generally, a High School diploma or GED equivalent; supplemented by four (4) years previous experience that includes construction and repair of underground facilities and operation of heavy equipment; or any equivalent combination. State of Colorado - Class 3 Operator Certification in Water Distribution or ability to obtain within one (1) year; and Class 2 in Wastewater Collections and/or backflow certification is preferred. Well Meter Testing Certification or the ability to attain within one (1) year. Certified Competent Person Training or ability to obtain within one (1) year. Valid Colorado Class A CDL driver's license with Tank Vehicle endorsement, or ability to attain within six (6) months.
Raw Water System Operator IV: Generally, a High School diploma or GED equivalent; supplemented by five (5) years previous, direct Water/Wastewater experience that includes construction and repair of underground facilities and operation of heavy equipment; or an equivalent combination. Well Meter Testing Certification or the ability to attain within one (1) year of hire. State of Colorado - Class 4 Operator Certification in Water Distribution. Class 3 in Collections and/or backflow certification is preferred. Certified Competent Person Training or ability to attain within one (1) year of hire. Valid Colorado Class A CDL driver's license with Tank Vehicle endorsement is required.
