Job Description
As a Local Yard Driver with Lazer Logistics, you will stay in one location for your entire shift. No traffic, no long routes, and no multiple stops. What You Can Expect
 
 
Home daily with a consistent schedule
 
Limited road driving or highway traffic
 
No touch freight
 
No customer deliveries or multi-stop routes

Pay and Benefits
 
 
$22.00 per hour starting pay
 
$1.00 shift differential (dependent on schedule)
 
Overtime available after 40 hours

Job Responsibilities
 
 
Move trailers within the yard and between dock doors
 
Perform drop and hook operations
 
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
 
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
 
Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel
 
Maintainaccuratelogs and documentation
 
 
Requirements
 
 
Valid Class A CDL
 
Current DOT Medical Card
 
Safe driving record
 
Experience operating tractor-trailers
 
Ability to work in all weather conditions
 
Ability to get in and out of the truck throughout the shift
