CDL A Driver - Am Route - $33.44 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Sarasota, FL.

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details: 

• Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 4am start, 8-10 hour shifts, 40-50 hours per week

• Pay:   $27.89 Per hour + $5.55 Health & Wellness up to 40 hours

• Route Type: Local

• Freight / Load Type: Mail

• Handling: Light touch freight, may need to help in the warehouse after delivery 

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport mail in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including light touch freight and warehouse help when needed

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
