Team
: Field Ops

Type
: Full-time (hourly; non-exempt)
 About the job:
Dandelion Energy is looking for an experienced CDL-A Driver / Driller Helper to join our Geothermal Drilling Team - but this is more than a driving job. If you're looking for steady hours, reliable pay, and the chance to grow into a skilled trade, this role offers all of that while making a real impact in renewable energy.
You'll spend most of your time driving Class-A vehicles to and from residential drilling sites - but you'll also handle light warehouse and inventory tasks and support our field teams on-site. No long-haul trucking. No weeks away from home. Just consistent work, local routes, and a path to grow with a mission-driven company.
 Responsibilities
Drive Class-A vehicles transporting drilling equipment, materials, and supplies to job sites
Assist with loading/unloading tools and supplies and keeping inventory organized at our yard
Operate vac trucks and associated equipment in the transfer of drill water
Support drilling operations: help with pipe handling, mixing mud/grout, and basic rig tasks
Perform basic warehouse duties (receiving, inventory counts, staging equipment)
Keep trucks and equipment clean, safe, and organized
Follow all company safety and quality protocols
• Must-haves
Valid CDL-A license with tanker endorsement and a safe driving record that meets company insurance requirements
Experience in securing and tying down heavy and complex loads using straps and chains
Comfort with hands-on, physical work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and repeatedly
Personal vehicle and ability/willingness to drive to job sites within approximately 75 miles.
Positive attitude and readiness to learn new technical skills.
Bonus points if you have:
rigging, warehouse, welding, or mechanical experience (not required)
 About Dandelion
Dandelion Energy is transforming how homes are heated and cooled-starting from (below) the ground up. As the nation's leading residential geothermal company, we design, install, and maintain all-in-one heating and cooling systems that are cleaner, quieter, more affordable, and up to 4× more efficient than traditional HVAC. Our focus is on large, enterprise deployments with major homebuilders, helping bring geothermal to more homes, faster.
Backed by Google Ventures (GV) and other top tech investors, our end-to-end geothermal solution is challenging the status quo in residential heating and cooling. We're scaling strategically and intentionally to meet growing demand. Our mission is simple and bold: to make geothermal the default choice for heating and cooling in the U.S.
 Why Dandelion
Dandelion Energy is at the forefront of the transition to clean, efficient home energy. Our team has delivered thousands of high-quality geothermal installations across the country, helped elevate geothermal heat pumps nationally, and played a meaningful role in advancing electrification-friendly policy at both the local and federal levels.

Together, we're building something complex, impactful, and designed to scale ... work that directly shapes how homes are powered for decades to come.
At Dandelion, you'll find a collaborative, fast-paced, and inclusive culture where curiosity, ownership, and cross-functional teamwork are core to how we operate. Our nationwide team is united by a shared commitment to sustainability and a belief that clean, affordable heating and cooling should be the standard.
