Full Description
Local/Regional CDL A Truck Driver in Edison, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time, W-2 Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $1,100 - $1,200 Per Week - $1,300 Per Week after a 3-month probation period
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Equipment: 2021 Volvo automatic day cab
Overview:
- Deliver company loads from our warehouse to consignee/customer locations
- Perform regional deliveries within nearby states
- Handle live load and unload operations at warehouses and customer sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of freight
- This position involves company freight only and does not include over-the-road (OTR) or long-haul driving.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of CDL Class A driving experience
- Experience with live load and unload operations at warehouses
- Availability for regional deliveries to nearby states (PA, DC, MD)
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Maintaining safe driving habits and take good care of company equipment.
- Adaptable and resourceful, with a strong work ethic, a safety-conscious mindset, and high reliability
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
