Full Description
Home Time: 48-hour reset every two weeks; select lanes may offer weekly home time
Pay: $1,350 to $1,525 per week
Freight: No-touch dry van freight, primarily drop-and-hook
Location: Springfield, IL 62701
CDL-A truck drivers can earn $1,350 to $1,525 per week running no-touch dry van freight with regular home time and dependable equipment.
This CDL-A truck driver position offers consistent freight, modern equipment, and regular time at home without overcomplicating the workday.
Weekly Pay: $1,350 to $1,525 per week
Freight: No-touch dry van freight
Operations: Primarily drop-and-hook
Equipment: Freightliner, Volvo, or Peterbilt trucks
Truck Features: Automatic transmissions, APUs, and inverters
Home Time: 48-hour reset every two weeks
Select Lanes: Weekly home time may be available
Orientation: Travel covered by flight or rental car
Orientation Pay: $1,000
Support: 24/7 driver support
Schedule: Clear dispatch communication throughout the week
This setup is built for CDL-A drivers who want steady freight, clear expectations, and equipment that supports efficient miles without unnecessary delays during the week while keeping home time consistent.
Drivers haul modern dry van trailers with no-touch freight and primarily drop-and-hook operations designed to reduce downtime and keep freight moving.
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family. Drivers also have access to a 401k/profit-sharing program, disability and life insurance coverage, vacation time, layover and breakdown pay, and 24/7 driver support.
Qualifications
To qualify, you will need at least 6 months of CDL-A driving experience within the past 24 months, or 1 year of experience within the last 3 years. A valid CDL-A license is required, and you should have experience handling trailers that are 48 feet or longer. A current DOT physical is necessary, but we can assist you in obtaining one if needed.
