TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support Local operations based in Covington, VA.
Temp-to-hire: This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL-A Driver Details:
Temp-to-hire: This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL-A Driver Details:
- Schedule: [5-day schedule (driver can choose Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat, or Sun-Thurs) / 1st Shift (5am-7am start) / home daily
- Pay: $27 Per hour
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: General Freight, can be hazmat
- Equipment: Tractor Trailer, Dry Van, Automatic
- Handling: No-touch
- License: CDL-A
- Experience: 2+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: Hazmat preferred, and is required within 90 days of being hired
- Equipment Experience: CDL-A tractor trailer
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Safely operate CDL-A tractor trailer on local routes
- Transport general freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
