POSITION DETAILS PLANT LOCATION SHEPHERDSVILLE KY

• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive assigned vehicle
• Pick-up and safely transport product to the intended destination
• Ensure contents are properly secured to prevent damage/injury
• Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries
• Stay on a predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery
• Communicate with dispatch as needed
• Confirm that the contents of each shipment load match the manifest document
• Perform inspections of the vehicle prior to and following each trip
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
• Follow delivery schedule to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
• Track and report working hours
• Adhere to company rules and regulations
• Obey all applicable traffic laws
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations
• Make safety a priority at all times

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) class A required
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• 2+ years of experience in commercial truck driving
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen and physical examination
• Self-started who works well independently
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
• Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles
