Job Title: Seasonal/Part-Time Truck Driver
Company: United Interstate Group, LLC
Location: Fresno, California
Pay: $23.00/hr
Schedule: Potential for 20 hours/week; hours vary based on demand, up to 45+ hrs/week
About Us
United Interstate Group, LLC is a dedicated Amazon Freight Partner specializing in facility-to-
facility hauls, including intermodal container transport and rail yard operations. Though we are a
small team, our leadership brings over 30 years of combined experience in the transportation
industry, offering you the guidance and support to succeed.
We're looking for reliable, safety-conscious drivers to join us on a seasonal or part-time basis,
with the strong possibility of transitioning into a full-time, permanent role.
What You'll Do
• Haul Amazon freight between facilities and from rail yards using intermodal containers.
• Operate both day cabs and sleeper cabs based on dispatch needs.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Communicate and report any damage or maintenance issues to the Operations Manager.
• Work day and night shifts as required by business needs.
• Be available for short-notice dispatches as freight loads are added or adjusted.
What We're Looking For
• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum of 3 months experience
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT drug screening
• Experience with intermodal freight and rail yards is a plus
• Comfortable operating both sleeper and day cabs
• Strong communication skills and reliability• Availability for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and variable hours
Additional Details
• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work and can not live
farther than 40 miles from the car in which we operate out of.
• Shifts may be given with short notice. We aim to provide 20+ hours/week but work
volume may increase during peak demand (up to 45+ hrs/week).
