TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support Local operations based in Covington, VA. 
 
Temp-to-hire: This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 
 
CDL-A Driver Details: 
<ul>
	<li>Schedule: [5-day schedule (driver can choose Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat, or Sun-Thurs) / 1st Shift (5am-7am start) / home daily
	<li>Pay: $27 Per hour
	<li>Route Type: Local
	<li>Freight / Load Type: General Freight, can be hazmat 
	<li>Equipment: Tractor Trailer, Dry Van, Automatic
	<li>Handling: No-touch
</ul>
CDL-A Driver Minimum Requirements: 

<ul>
	<li>License: CDL-A 
	<li>Experience: 2+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
	<li>Endorsements: Hazmat preferred, and is required within 90 days of being hired 
	<li>Equipment Experience: CDL-A tractor trailer
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
</ul>
CDL-A Driver Responsibilities: 

<ul>
	<li>Safely operate CDL-A tractor trailer on local routes
	<li>Transport general freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
	<li>Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
	<li>Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
	<li>Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
</ul>
