TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in West Columbia, SC. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Working days between Mon-Fri, 2 am start time, 350 - 700 miles per week
- Pay: $20/hr
- Route Type: Local, delivery to box stores in NC, SC, and GA
- Freight / Load Type: Retail material, 1-2 stops per day
- Equipment: 53" Trailer
- Handling: No-touch
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Equipment Experience: 53" Trailer
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate equipment on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
