Job Description
 
This position is responsible for the safe and timely transport and delivery of eggs. The role requires operating diesel-powered tractor trailer combinations while complying with all Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations.
 
The Hatchery Egg Haul driver must maintain a safe work environment and follow all Tyson policies and procedures. Additional duties may be assigned as needed, including tasks directed by management.

Must possess a valid 
Class A CDL
 
Must have 
at least 1 year of verifiable experience
, or 
9 months within the past 12 months
 
Must be able to care for chicks in both hot and cold weather conditions
 
Must maintain all required DOT paperwork
 
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary
 
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
 
Must pass a 
DOT physical examination and drug screening
 
Must pass both 
urine and hair follicle drug tests
 as required by DOT regulations
 
Must successfully complete a 
road test
 
Must pass a 
background screening
