Hiring Area: Chicago, IL 60601
Pay Range: $1,400 to $1,415 per week
Rouse Trucking is hiring CDL-A flatbed drivers for a regional position. If you're tired of being underpaid for specialized work and want a carrier that respects your time, this is a solid step forward.
This is a full-time flatbed driving role hauling freight like coils, rebar, lumber, and machinery. Loads are consistent across the Southeast and Midwest. You'll run reliable miles in late-model trucks with features designed to make life on the road more livable.
Here's what you'll get with this job:
We believe flatbed drivers should be paid for more than just miles. That's why we include performance-based bonuses, annual raises, and a generous referral program for qualified hires. You'll also get transition pay during your first weeks to help you bridge the gap as you get rolling.
Orientation is quick, efficient, and fully covered. We'll arrange your hotel, travel (no buses), and meals. You'll be solo in your own truck - no slip seating, and no time wasted waiting on trainers or mentors.
To qualify, you must have a valid Class A CDL and either 1 full year of flatbed experience or 1 year of OTR with at least 6 months of flatbed. You'll also need to meet DOT medical requirements.

- 6 full days of home time per month, with flexible scheduling
- Late-model Peterbilt 579s with SiriusXM, fridge, inverter, TV mount, and Espar bunk heater

- Extra pay for tarping, detention, layover, stop-offs, breakdowns, and clean inspections
