Safely fuel locomotives using specialized fueling equipment
Stick fuel tanks and monitor fuel levels
Pull hoses and operate fuel nozzles
Work safely around active rail equipment
Complete required inspections and documentation

Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Because rail operations run 24/7, dispatches can occur at any time during your shift. You'll be paid for the entire 12-hour shift-including breaks, lunch, and wait time-regardless of the number of dispatches received.
