TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local and regional yard operations based in Houston, TX. This position offers steady work, consistent routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

 
CDL A Details:

<ul>
	<li>Schedule: 

	<ul>
		<li>Varies; most routes start from 8:00 pm to 4:00 am
		<li>Yard shifts typically: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
		<li>1–2 layovers per week (1 day)
	</ul>
	
	<li>Pay: $28 Per Hour
	<li>Route Type: Local / Regional
	<li>Freight / Load Type: Dry van; 5–8 stops per day
	<li>Equipment: Automatic and Manual trucks
	<li>Handling: Strapping required
</ul>

 
CDL A Minimum Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>License: CDL A
	<li>Experience: 1+ year of recent, verifiable driving experience
	<li>Equipment Experience: Dry van
	<li>Endorsements: Hazmat 
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major violations in last 3 years)
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
</ul>

 
CDL A Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Perform yard moves and support local/regional routes
	<li>Safely operate automatic and manual equipment
	<li>Secure loads using proper strapping techniques
	<li>Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
	<li>Maintain accurate logs and communicate with dispatch
