Intermodal Trailer Technician | $22-$35/Hour | Henderson, CO

TransForce is looking for an Intermodal Trailer Technician in Henderson, CO for one our clients. We welcome both experienced technicians and entry-level candidates. If you have hands-on mechanical experience — including military mechanical training — we want to talk.

Pay & Schedule

<ul>
	<li>Experienced Technicians: $30-$35 per hour based on experience
	<li>Entry-Level Technicians: $22-$23 per hour
	<li>Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays
	<li>8AM start time, shifts run 8-11 hours depending on workload
</ul>

What You&apos;ll Do

<ul>
	<li>Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative service on intermodal trailers
	<li>Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
	<li>Repair or replace brakes, suspension systems, tires, and other trailer components
	<li>Complete welding and light fabrication work as needed
	<li>Ensure all equipment meets DOT safety and compliance standards
	<li>Accurately document all maintenance and repair work
</ul>

What You Need

<ul>
	<li>High school diploma or equivalent — technical or vocational training preferred
	<li>Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
	<li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
	<li>Valid driver&apos;s license — CDL preferred but not required
	<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team
</ul>

Preferred Experience

<ul>
	<li>Hands-on trailer technician experience — intermodal or refrigerated equipment strongly preferred
	<li>Diesel mechanic background
	<li>Familiarity with CAT or Cummins engines
	<li>Experience with diagnostic tools and schematics
	<li>Welding and fabrication skills
</ul>

Certifications That Stand Out (Not Required)

<ul>
	<li>EPA 608 Certification (Universal or Type II)
	<li>ASE Certification in Heavy Truck and/or Trailer Systems
</ul>
