Non CDL Driver | Heavy Touch | $19.25 Per Hour + $1,500 Sign-on Bonus| Scotia, NY  

TransForce is seeking a Non-CDL driver to support local operations based in Scotia, NY. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Truck Driver Details 

• Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, 6AM start time 

• Pay:  $19.25 per hour, OT after 40, + $1,500 Sign-on Bonus, $1300 estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: local

• Freight / Load Type: empty bottles and cans

• Equipment: Straight Truck

• Handling: Heavy touch - moving bags of empty bottles and cans, weighing up to 50lbs per bag, into the truck

Non CDL Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: Non-CDL 

• Experience: At least 6 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Equipment Experience: Rail gate dry vans

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

Non CDL Driver Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate 48ft rail gate dry vans on local routes 

• Transport empty bottles and cans in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including carrying and loading bags of cans into the back of the truck 

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting 50 pound bags and loading them onto the trailer
