<strong>About the Position</strong></h3>

<p>Our client is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to help keep fleet vehicles and equipment roadworthy and ready for service. This on-site role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, welding, and fabrication in a shop environment.</p>

<strong>Pay & Schedule Details</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>$24.29 per hour. $1.00 per hour night-shift differential
	<li>Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
	<li>Night shift: 3:30 p.m. to midnight
	<li>Weekly pay
	<li>Overtime available for hours worked over 40
</ul>

<strong>Job Details</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>On-site maintenance position in Wahoo, Nebraska
	<li>Fleet vehicle and equipment maintenance
	<li>Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, welding, and fabrication
	<li>Hydraulic system troubleshooting
	<li>In-shop repairs, with equipment transported for specialized repairs as needed
	<li>Occasional roadside assistance for disabled vehicles may be required
</ul>

<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.
	<li>Review driver vehicle inspection reports and address identified maintenance concerns.
	<li>Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and electrical wiring.
	<li>Perform welding and metal fabrication work.
	<li>Follow all safety rules and regulations and participate in scheduled safety meetings.
	<li>Maintain a clean, organized shop using 5S principles.
	<li>Respond to roadside service calls for disabled vehicles when required.
	<li>Perform other related duties as assigned.
</ul>

<strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>3-5 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
	<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
	<li>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
	<li>High school diploma or GED.
	<li>Must provide and maintain personal mechanic tools.
</ul>

<strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3>

<ul>
	<li>Class A CDL preferred.
	<li>Welding or metal fabrication experience, or technical schooling.
	<li>Experience troubleshooting electrical wiring.
	<li>Strong hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
	<li>Detail-oriented and self-motivated approach to work.
</ul>
