Full Description
Job Purpose:
- The Class B CDL Driver at 3B DOZER SERVICE LLC is responsible for operating heavy dump trucks, primarily focusing on local deliveries and services. Key responsibilities include performing daily pre/post-trip inspections, loading/unloading cargo, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. The role requires exposure to all weather conditions, noise, and fumes at construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy dump trucks for local deliveries and services efficiently and safely.
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure transportation and delivery.
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment and promptly report malfunctions to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation, including daily logs and mileage records.
- Ensure a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
- Adapt to exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, and fumes at construction sites.
- Demonstrate physical ability to lift up to 50-100 lbs frequently, bend, climb in/out of the cab, and stand for extended periods.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Class B CDL Driver.
- Experience in performing daily pre/post trip inspections and loading/unloading cargo.
- Experience in ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to all weather conditions, noise, and fumes at construction sites.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50-100 lbs frequently.
- Ability to bend, climb in/out of the cab, and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
- Ability to maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation, including daily logs and mileage records.
