Dedicated Local CDL-A Driver (CT to NYC/NJ Route) - ~$1,900/Wk Avg ($5K Bonus)

WHAT YOU EARN & GET:

Solid Weekly Income: Earn an average of ~$1,750 to $1,925+ per week ($86,000 to $99,500+ per year) through mileage, activity pay, and daily attendance bonuses.
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus: First payment issued immediately after taking your first dispatch.
Competitive Activity Rates:
- $0.50 to $0.54 CPM mileage pay (~1,380 miles/week)
- $50 daily rate for completing all scheduled workdays
- $19.00 - $31.50 per stop (Highest rates for NYC boroughs and Boston drops)
- $15/hr detention pay (after 1st hr) & $100 layover pay
Hotel Coverage: Company-paid hotel room provided if an unexpected layover occurs.

WHAT THE SHIFT LOOKS LIKE:

Daily Home Time: Start and finish your work shift every day at the West Haven, CT yard.
Shift Window: Dispatch between 12:00 AM and 1:30 AM (10 to 14-hour daily shifts).
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday AND every other Saturday (5-day week with a 6th day required during peak/holiday periods).
The Route: Travel from West Haven to Westfield, MA for early morning pickup (2 AM-4 AM), then deliver dedicated reefer loads into NYC Boroughs, Long Island, and NJ.

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

Class A CDL: Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience (3+ months driving in NYC boroughs preferred).
Physical Unloading: Driver offload using electric or manual pallet jacks with liftgate equipment (1-3 pallets of fresh/frozen goods per stop; occasional hand offloading).
Fleet Setup: Comfortable slip-seating automatic day cabs (no take-home equipment, no riders, no pets).
Commute & Testing: Must have personal transport to the West Haven yard and pass standard DOT physical, urine, and hair follicle drug screens.
