Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Class A license with Hazardous Material Endorsements required, Tanker Endorsement preferred
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- 3-5 years of truck driving experience desired
- Basic knowledge of gases, cryogenics i.e. pressure and compatibility preferred
- Industry experience such as handling cylinders is desired
- Effective oral and written communication skills and basic customer service experience
- Must be organized, have good reasoning skills, math aptitude and time management skills
Essential duties/responsibilities:
- Be the face of the organization, driving a standard route of up to 250 miles/day delivering merchandise to customers
- Provide excellent customer service by loading and unloading the material in your truck
- Build relationships with customers and serve as a liaison to sales and other managers within the organization
- Work with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed or damaged merchandise
- Complete required DOT compliance items to safely deliver products to customers
