Responsibilities
• Operate Class A CDL vehicles to transport construction materials safely and efficiently across Indiana and the surrounding states.
• Ensure the timely delivery of prefabricated wall panels, floor trusses, and roof trusses to various job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with dispatch and project managers to optimize delivery schedules and expectations.
• Maintain records of deliveries and pickups
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates on delivery status and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications
• Experience in operating Class A commercial vehicles, ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ability to conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining vehicle safety and reliability.
• Proven track record of timely and efficient delivery.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with logistics teams and site managers.
• Ability to plan and execute efficient delivery routes, minimizing delays and maximizing productivity.
• Experience in loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads.
