What You'll Do
As a CDL Class A Driver/Installer, you'll play a vital role in delivering and installing furniture for our residential, commercial, event, and trade show clients. We're looking for a dependable, motivated CDL Class A Driver/Furniture Mover to join our crew. If you enjoy being on the move, working with your hands, and making customers smile, this is the job for you! Responsibilities include:
- Operate company vehicles safely and professionally.
- Pick up and deliver merchandise according to scheduled routes, including NC, VA, MD, GA, and TN.
- Verify deliveries match invoices and shipping documents.
- Maintain vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Communicate customer feedback and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
- Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
- Overnight travel required up to three days per week (hotel and per diem provided).
What We're Looking For
- Driving experience (required)
- Valid Class A CDL & clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical & pre-employment drug test. Comply with all DOT Regulations
- Furniture handling experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional, courteous attitude; bilingual preferred.
- Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb stairs, bend, and stay active for extended periods
- Basic tool knowledge (cordless drill, screwdriver, etc.)
- Must comply with FMCSA regulations, pass drug screening, background check, and work occasional weekends.
- High School Diploma or equivalent

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Organization and time management skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service and problem solving oriented.
- Available to work rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, and weekends.
- Ability to use basic tools such as screwdriver, cordless drills, hammers, or any other assembly tool.
- Basic math knowledge, organization and reading skills.
EDUCATION:
- Degree: High School or Equivalent
- Languages: English and Spanish languages preferable; verbal and written.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least six months of experience in a similar industry, warehousing and inventory knowledge from a delivery company or similar industry.
- Required to be able to operate a 26' box truck.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
- Valid Driver's license - must meet the insurance underwriting requirements (no points of violations in the past twelve months).
- Able to pass DOT Physical test, which includes but is not limited to pre-employment Drug Testing.
- Background check is required.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- This job will require lifting 75 pounds, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, and being physically active for extended periods of time.
- The Driver/Installer will adhere and comply with DOT regulations.
