Full Description

This is a home-daily opportunity with a consistent schedule and two consecutive days off each week. Drivers haul intermodal freight locally in and out of rail facilities throughout the Houston area.
Position Details

Home daily
Local Houston intermodal operation
Static weekly schedule
2 consecutive days off each week
Day and night shift options available
Approximately 1,000-1,200 miles per week
Intermodal freight moving in and out of rail
Mix of live load/unload, preload, and drop-and-hook freight
Average earnings approximately $1,000 per week
Weekly pay

Drivers should be prepared for shifts that may be approximately 12 hours depending on freight and customer needs.
Driver Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
Must live within approximately 30 miles of ZIP code 77020
Must be comfortable operating in and around rail facilities and rail equipment
Must meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
Must be authorized to work in the United States

No endorsements are required.
Schedule

Available schedules may include:

Sunday-Thursday
Tuesday-Saturday
Day or night shifts

Weekend and holiday work may be required depending on freight and customer needs.
