CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver - Chicago, IL

Earn $1,200-$1,400 per week hauling intermodal containers on a local account based in Chicago, Illinois. Enjoy daily home time, day or night shift options, and frequent drop-and-hook operations, with routes extending into nearby states.
Pay Details

Listed Weekly Pay Range: $1,200-$1,400
No bonus offered
No short-haul pay
No stop pay

Job Details

Local intermodal container operations
Runs throughout Chicago and into Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, and Indiana
Drop-and-hook operations are common, especially at night
Some live loading and unloading
Out-of-state routes while still returning home daily
Chicago traffic is part of the job

Shift Details

Home daily
Day and night shifts available
Work scheduled days, including holidays when required

Job Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Experienced, first-seat drivers only
Clean driving record
Valid DOT Medical Card
No SAP drivers
Must be comfortable with Chicago traffic and local or out-of-state runs
