JOB SUMMARY:


This position will assist fleet mechanics with truck and equipment repairs by performing necessary welding repairs in order to keep fleet in top condition.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




Maintains service logs and records of maintenance on vehicles and motorized equipment


Keeps tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized and in good working condition


Perform welding repairs on trailer and MC-307, DOT-407, and DOT-412 tanks


Perform fabrication duties


Additional duties as assigned




EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:




High school diploma or equivalent required


Mig and Stick welding experience required


Experience in fabrication


Previous fleet shop experience preferred


Post-secondary vocational education strongly preferred


Driver's license required, Class A CDL preferred
