Xtreme Manufacturing in Henderson, Nevada, is looking for a dependable and efficient CDL A Driver to join our dynamic team!
Summary of Responsibilities
The job of a CDL A Driver consists of transporting telehandlers, high reach equipment, assemblies and parts between manufacturing facilities in Henderson, Nevada, and Selma, California. In performing this job, the Driver will drive a flatbed or step-bed trailer and will usually load and unload the trailer with or without assistance from other workers. The Driver will make minor vehicle repairs (replacing light bulbs, fuses, etc.) and maintain good communications with their supervisor to ensure that the deliveries are made on time and that the vehicle is maintained in good working order.
Qualifications for CDL A Driver:
To perform this job successfully, a Driver must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be able to pass all qualifications as set forth in Department of Transportation regulations, along with Xtreme Manufacturing polices.
- Employees must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening, criminal background check, and have a good DMV report.
- Valid State issued Commercial Driver's License (Class A).
- Read, write, and speak English.
- 3 or less recorded moving violations or 1 accident and 1 moving violation within a 36 month period.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in driving a commercial vehicle preferred.
- Commitment to Company values.

- Good sense of direction (N,W,E,S).
- Usage of 2-way radio.
- Customer Service qualities.
- Compliance with Company's policies and procedures.
- Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days).
Responsibilities for CDL A Driver include but not limited to:
- Deliver and operate general rental/high reach equipment.
- Drive single vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more; the operator may tow a vehicle with a GVWR of 10,001 pounds or more.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Review Vehicle Inspection Reports (VIR) and reports any safety issues to supervisor.
- Verify order paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
- Load, chain, and bind the equipment to the truck.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance (e.g. fueling, adding fluids, changing bulbs, etc.).
- Operate all types of equipment in the specified category.
- Record and report any customer or driver damage to the equipment.
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned.
