Job description
Class A CDL drivers will operate Tractor/Trailers on both local and distance runs. Driver will be responsible for driving equipment to tradeshows and events both locally and out of state in company-provided Tractor/Trailers. Driver will also be responsible for driving loads obtained from various load boards locally and out of state.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Must be proficient in the English Language
• Drives Company equipment in a professional and safe manner at all times.
• Maintain accurate Hours of Service records using company provided ELD
• Delivers products to specified locations in a timely manner.
• Unloads and stacks products with customers in a friendly courteous manner.
• Ensures that delivery paperwork is completed as required.
• Ensures truck pre-trip and post trip procedures are followed daily.
• Performs other related warehouse or delivery duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Comply with DOT and OSHA standards.
• Attention to detail is required.
Education and Experience:
• Must be 25 years old.
• Must Possess valid Class A CDL with clean driving record, background and DOT record.
• Must pass company Driving test(s).
• Successfully complete DOT Physical, pre-employment drug screening. • Clearinghouse query and ongoing drug testing as mandated by the Department of Transportation/FMCSA.
• Ability to frequently lift 75lbs and push, pull or move any weight with proper equipment and sit for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to work flexible work hours and schedules.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
