- 5:30 PM - 3:30 AM
- If one of the scheduled workdays falls on a holiday, the workweek will shift to include Wednesday/Saturday instead.
Republic Master Chefs is seeking a safety-focused and experienced Class A CDL Driver responsible for transporting linen and textile products between company facilities and designated locations throughout Southern California.
This position performs Drop & Hook operations with No Touch Freight while ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations, company safety standards, and transportation procedures.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle.
- Perform Drop & Hook operations.
- Handle No Touch Freight transportation.
- Transport products between company facilities and assigned locations.
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and required transportation documentation.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Report vehicle maintenance concerns promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and operations teams.
- Maintain company equipment and vehicle cleanliness.
- Provide reliable and professional transportation services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of legal residence.
- Minimum of 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience required.
- Current DOT Medical Card/Medical Certification.
- Must meet applicable DOT and company safety requirements.
- Ability to maintain a reliable attendance record.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.
- Must be able to satisfy all applicable pre-employment screening requirements consistent with federal, state, and local law.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles in a transportation, distribution, or delivery environment.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements.
- Experience with drop-and-hook operations.
- Previous experience in the linen, uniform, food service, or distribution industry is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle for extended periods.
- Ability to climb in and out of the vehicle safely.
- Ability to complete required vehicle inspections.
- Ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- This position requires meeting the physical demands necessary to safely perform the essential functions of the job.
