Freight: Dedicated stainless-steel flatbed freight with planned backhauls

A specialized flatbed operation and dependable freight movement give experienced CDL-A drivers consistent weekly work hauling stainless-steel freight. Drivers earn $2,000 to $2,100 per week, return home every weekend for a 34-hour reset, and use equipment assigned specifically for this dedicated operation.
Dedicated Flatbed Operation
Outbound loads originate near Calvert, Alabama, and consist of smaller stainless-steel coils and flat stainless-steel sheets. Available backhaul freight is picked up after outbound deliveries to help move drivers toward the next customer load instead of routinely returning empty.
• Primarily live loaded and live unloaded freight
• Approximately 75% of loads require tarping
• Lightweight six-foot drop tarps are used for this account
Tarp compensation is included in the account's pay program.
Weekly Schedule & Compensation
• Pay is $2,000 to $2,100 per week
• Home every weekend for a 34-hour reset
• Qualified drivers receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus
Planned backhauls work with the dedicated outbound freight to support productive weekly schedules and reduce unnecessary empty miles.
Truck & Trailer Setup
Each driver receives an assigned newer-model Kenworth T680 and stays with the same trailer throughout the trip.
• 2025 Extreme 48-foot flatbed trailers
• 12 winches and straps
