Pay and Miles
• 2,700-3,000 miles per week
• Weekly earnings of $1,500 to $1,800
• Fuel bonus opportunities and driver incentive programs
Drivers average 2,700 to 3,000 miles per week while earning $1,500 to $1,800 running established regional freight. Consistent freight supports dependable miles and weekly earnings.
Home Time and Running Areas: This position is designed for drivers who want regular home time without giving up strong miles. Drivers typically spend 4-6 days on the road before returning home for a 34-hour reset.
Freight operates throughout regional Southwest and Midwest lanes, allowing drivers to stay productive while avoiding Northeast traffic and congestion.
Equipment: Drivers operate late-model International LT trucks equipped with 71-inch sleepers, automatic transmissions, APUs, inverters, and space for a refrigerator. Equipment is maintained through Penske's nationwide maintenance network to help minimize downtime and keep drivers moving.
Advanced ELD technology helps simplify daily operations, while aerodynamic enhancements and bobtail skirts support fuel efficiency and the company's fuel bonus program.
Freight: Freight consists of dry van loads that are 100% no-touch for drivers. A mix of drop-and-hook and live load freight helps maintain consistent movement throughout the week while reducing time spent handling freight.
Benefits: Medical coverage is available with multiple plan options, along with a Health Savings Plan, $25,000 company-paid life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, and pet and passenger programs.
Ideal Candidate: We're seeking experienced CDL-A professionals who value route stability, dependable freight, and frequent home time. Qualified drivers must have at least 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience and the ability to meet safety and driving standards.
