Pay: $1,600 to $1,800 per week | Home Time: Home Every 7-8 Days
Hiring Area: Salt Lake City, UT 84101 | Freight: 100% no-touch dry van
Western freight flow and consistent lane planning help drivers maintain productive miles throughout the Western 11 states while earning strong weekly pay and returning home every 7-8 days for a full 48-hour reset.
• 3,000-3,400 miles per week
• 100% no-touch dry van freight
• Established Western 11 regional lanes
• Late-model International LT equipment
Pay and Miles
• Weekly earnings of $1,600 to $1,800
• 3,000-3,400 miles per week
• Fuel bonus opportunities and driver incentive programs
Drivers haul consistent regional freight throughout the Western 11 states, helping support dependable mileage and strong weekly earnings.
Home Time and Running Areas
This regional position combines productive Western miles with a schedule that provides regular time at home.
• 7-8 days on the road
• Full 48-hour reset at home
• Western 11 regional running area
The Western operating area keeps drivers moving across established lanes while avoiding the Northeast corridor.
Equipment
Drivers operate late-model International LT trucks built for comfort and productivity on regional routes.
• 71-inch sleepers and automatic transmissions
• APUs, inverters, and space for a refrigerator
• Maintained through Penske's nationwide maintenance network
Advanced ELD technology helps simplify daily operations, while aerodynamic enhancements and bobtail skirts support fuel efficiency and the company's fuel bonus program.
Freight
• 100% no-touch dry van loads
• Large percentage of drop-and-hook freight
This freight mix helps reduce delays and dock time while allowing drivers to stay focused on productive miles.
